形态描述：常绿小灌木，高达1米；常平卧。多分枝，幼枝密生黄褐色绒毛及粒状腺体,有浓香。叶互生,密集，近革质，线形，长0.9-1.1(-1.5)厘米，宽1-1.5毫米，上面深绿色，有光泽，下面密被锈褐色绒毛；叶柄长1-3毫米；幼叶及花序有黄色粒状腺体。花序顶生去年枝端。花梗细，长1-2厘米，密被棕褐色绒毛；花萼裂片圆形，宿存；花冠白色，长4-8毫米，裂片长卵形；雄蕊10;花柱细长，宿存。蒴果卵圆形，长3.4-4毫米，被棕褐色细毛。种子细小，纺锤形，长约1.5毫米，顶端具膜质翅状附属物。花期6-7月，果期7-8月。
